An English book published in the early 1990s that shares Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) knowledge, integrating the authors' insights, experience, and understanding

Personally think that any knowledge sharing and/or learning is not restricted to (by) the language of its origin. The authors' sharing in the book demonstrated their openness, inclusiveness, courage, and passion for TCM, embodying what feels true to their hearts. Being so accepting and passionate about something different to the system in their traditional growing environment and cultural background (Western Medicine), while not strictly opposing one, but seeing the difference between the two and acknowledging that there are parts that could be integrated

Reading this book could feel some resonance with some of my own thoughts previously, and gained further understanding in terms of "how could the Creation-Control relationship be understood". Learning TCM knowledge; Further understanding into Eastern Philosophical Thinking; Learning how to take care of the body-mind-soul from TCM perspective; Connecting personal Pilates learning experience with concepts like "Yin-Yang" and "Five elements" gained clearer understanding and discovery on why I chose to learn and participate in this exercise and the importance of exercise itself...

There were numerous instances of resonance or "soundboarding" while reading. Just doing a minor consolidation of something felt resonated while coming across close to the end of the book:

Yin-Yang

  • Heaven: "Yang"

  • Human: "Yin" and "Yang"

  • Earth: "Yin"

In the human body

  • Heaven: Above diaphragm

  • Human: Between diaphragm and navel

  • Earth: Below navel

Also thought of why humans feel so comfortable in nature. There is a balance of Yin and Yang in nature.
